The Work

Is this solid gold?
No. It is finished with real 24K gold applied over formed metal. Nobody makes solid gold wall art - it would be unaffordable and too heavy to hang. Gilding has been the technique since the Egyptians.

Is the gold real?
Yes, and it is pure - 24 karat, no alloy. There is less of it than a solid piece would contain, and it is doing what gold has always done in art: sitting on the surface, catching light, and not tarnishing.

Will it tarnish?
The gold will not. Gold does not oxidise, which is the property that made it valuable in the first place. Silver elements on select models do darken over time and can be brightened with a silver cloth.

Why do two pieces look slightly different?
Gold is applied by hand rather than by industrial dip. The slight variation is a characteristic of that process, not a defect.

Ordering

How long does it take?
Each piece is made to order. Production and delivery take approximately 30 days. If yours will take longer, we will tell you before you order.

Can I cancel?
Within 48 hours of purchase, yes, for a full refund. After that, materials are committed and production has begun.

Can I choose the frame and backing?
Yes. Four frame finishes - gold, black, white, bronze - and velvet backing in black or white, both selected at checkout.

Shipping

Where do you ship from?
Israel, worldwide.

Will I pay customs or import duty?
Possibly, depending on your country. Import duty and local taxes are set by your government and are separate from the shipping charge at checkout. Many countries apply a reduced rate to artwork. If you would like an estimate for your destination before ordering, email us and we will work it out with you.

Is it insured?
Yes. Every shipment is fully insured and requires a signature on delivery.

What if it arrives damaged?
Email us within 7 days with your order number and photographs. See our Returns page for what happens next.

The Symbols

Do you only make religious art?
No. A large part of the collection is universal - sacred geometry, the tree of life, celestial motifs - symbols that appear across many cultures and belong to none exclusively.

Can you make a symbol from my tradition?
Often, yes. See our Custom Commissions page. If a tradition has conventions about how something should be depicted, tell us and we will follow them.

Care

How do I clean it?
A dry, soft cloth. Nothing abrasive, no solvents, no glass cleaner on the metal.

Can I hang it in direct sunlight?
The gold will not fade. The velvet backing will, over years. A wall adjacent to a window is better than one facing it.

Bathroom or kitchen?
Not ideal. Humidity accelerates tarnishing on silver elements and is not kind to frames.
